About the Role
As a Drilling Performance Intern, you’ll support the development of drilling performance initiatives by combining engineering principles, data analytics, and digital technologies to improve operational efficiency.
You will:
• Analyze drilling performance data to uncover trends and insights
• Support predictive model development and automation solutions
• Work with existing data pipelines and visualization tools
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams
• Create reports, presentations, and technical documentation
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
What We’re Looking For
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Passion for optimization and technical innovation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in drilling operations or energy technology
Bonus Skills:
Experience with Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau, or Grafana is an asset.
Internship Requirements
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be available to start Wednesday, May 6, 2026 (non-negotiable)
• Must have completed at least first year of post-secondary studies by May 4, 2026
• Must have housing and transportation in Calgary (no housing provided)
