Drilling Superintendent Full Time NEW

Education: High school diploma or educational equivalent is preferred. Management training is desired. Professional Experience: Skills � Technical: 2 years� experience as a rig superintendent is preferred. Supervisory experience is preferred. Skills � Communication: Bi-lingual is preferred (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese). Verbal communication skills necessary. Skills � People: Ability to interact with individuals in a cross-cultural environment. Leadership and employee development skills. Team oriented. Licenses, Certifications, Credentials, and Other Requirements: Offshore survival and medical certificates as mandated by government regulations are required. Certified in all required safety training programs, including but not limited to underwater safety, firefighting, and helicopter underwater escape. Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.

Safety Demonstrate commitment to the Company safety policies by frequent discussions, review, consultations and audits made on the vessel. Select appropriate standards, specifications and safe working procedures including drills and incorporate those in the drilling operational procedure of the rig. Monitor adherence to standards, specifications and procedures and review performance of department staff. Ensure that staff are provided with sufficient resources and training to achieve their safety objectives.
