Job description
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC – Iraq branch for a:
HSE Supervisor (SIMOPS)
· Ensure permanent control of the application of the Company’s HSE Management System and Bridging Documents requirements between Contractors involved in operations & Company.
· Support Company’s Senior Supervisor to identify and minimize risks especially downgraded situations. Participate in performing Operational Risk Analysis and job analysis for critical tasks.
· Participate in Kick off meetings, Pre spud meetings, daily meetings. Participate randomly in Pre Job Meetings.
· Ensure and/or Deliver HSE inductions at the activity sites.
· Ensure HSE training compliance of the personnel on site (H2S, ERW,…)
· Coach and mentor crews in all aspects of daily HSE best practices as well as the company HSE Golden rules.
· Contribute to compliance with Company’s HSE Objectives. Follow up on progress. Generate and propose
Profile
Ideally, you will have graduated in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum experience of 7 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry and a minimum of 5 years as HSE Supervisor (or equivalent). With experience on onshore operations, including, but not limited to, SIMOPS and CPF construction works.
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Dynamic, proactive, very organized and detail oriented. Fluent in English and Arabic.
