About the job
Main purpose of role:
To assist Mechanical Static Technical Authority in Mechanical Static discipline related scopes including Pressure Vessel, Piping, Crane, Mechanical Valve, Pipeline and any other assigned scopes by the COMPANY to execute daily operations, maintenance, reliability, and integrity works.
Develop, planning and execute all Mechanical Static discipline related scopes to ensure assets’ operations, maintenance, reliability, and integrity are intact and in compliance with Malaysia Law, Petronas PPGUA, OSR-MS and GOFF.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist Mechanical Static Technical Authority on overall Mechanical Static discipline related scopes (Pressure Vessel, Piping, Crane, Mechanical Valve, Pipeline and any other assigned scopes by the COMPANY) in daily operations, maintenance, reliability and integrity of Mechanical Static discipline related scopes including inspection planning, inspection execution, assessment of inspection results, recommendation for repair (permanent or temporary), alteration, execution of temporary mitigations, fabrication of permanent replacement, risk assessment (update RBI Assessment program based on latest inspection results), maintenance of mechanical static related scopes devices, and update Inspection Reference Plan (IRP).
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree from a recognised college or institute or university in the discipline of engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
- Registered with Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM), as minimum as Graduate Engineer
- Minimum of 5-year experience as an engineer, working in the Oil &Gas offshore industry, particularly on operating offshore assets
