Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Field Roustabout I to join a land drilling operation in Kuwait. The successful candidate will support daily rig-site activities, assist the drilling crew with general operations, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Candidates must have proven experience working as a Roustabout on a 3,000 HP drilling rig in Kuwait.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine roustabout duties around the drilling rig and rig site.
- Assist drilling crew members with daily operational activities.
- Handle, move, and organize tools, equipment, materials, and supplies as required.
- Support rig maintenance, cleaning, housekeeping, and general site activities.
- Assist with loading, unloading, lifting, and material-handling tasks.
- Follow established safety procedures, work instructions, and permit requirements.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards throughout the rig site.
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, and operational concerns to supervisors.
- Work effectively as part of a multicultural drilling team.
- Carry out other duties assigned in line with the Roustabout position.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Roustabout in Kuwait.
- Experience specifically on a 3,000 HP drilling rig is mandatory.
- Previous experience with Nabors in Kuwait will be considered an advantage.
- Education: High School, Diploma, or Grade School; relevant rig experience is essential.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Must hold transferable Kuwait residency.
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding rig-site duties.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and drilling-site procedures.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Applicants with solid Kuwait-based drilling experience, familiarity with 3,000 HP rigs, and previous Nabors experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates must meet the experience and residency requirements before submitting an application.
