Role Summary
Responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing all electrical systems onboard, while supervising and organizing the electrical team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with Seadrill’s Code of Conduct, QHSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain valid technical certifications and accurate maintenance records.
Plan and supervise daily electrical operations and personnel.
Ensure all safety and emergency electrical systems are fully operational.
Maintain software licenses, backups, and upgrades.
Conduct training and competency assessments for team members.
Provide thorough handovers and maintain logbooks.
Equipment & Systems
Ensure all electrical and safety equipment is maintained, tested, and documented.
Manage stock of critical spares and materials.
Qualifications
Meet Seadrill’s training and competence requirements.
Authority
As defined by Seadrill’s Corporate and Regional Delegation of Authority.
