About the job
Primary Purpose of the Job
Plan, coordinate, schedule, execute and control the Electrical Maintenance activities. Responsible for reliable power supply distribution to customers and QATARENERGY facilities. Develop the corrective and preventive maintenance plans to safeguard the functionality and integrity of assigned RLIC assets. Ensure and enforce implementation of QATARENERGY-Corporate regulations, policies and standards to protect revenues and business.
Required Experience and Skills
- 10 – 12 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance, with 6 years of experience within Process / Oil and Gas Industry as credit.
- Exposure to international experience and appreciation of cultural sensitivities.
- Strong working knowledge of engineering/technical document control systems with full understanding of complex electrical schematic drawings, practices international engineering codes/standards and organizational and analytical techniques.
- Excellent oral and written English combined with strong report writing, presentation and influencing skills. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills. Capable of working under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Office software, SAP software, and protective relays software.
Educational Qualifications
B.E or B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering Discipline or equivalent from an internationally recognized university preferably with professional membership in a recognized engineering society / institution.
