Job Summary

The role supports safe, efficient, and reliable offshore operations by championing Seadrill’s PIMED Task Process (Plan, Identify, Manage, Execute & Debrief). The position focuses on strengthening HSE compliance, coaching crews, and ensuring consistent application of safety systems onboard.

Key Responsibilities

Rig Compliance

• Lead and support internal, client, and regulatory HSE audits (ISM, Company, Client).

• Ensure compliance with client and regulatory HSE requirements.

• Complete monthly rig verifications.

Task Process (PIMED)

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and coach for PIMED.

• Provide hands-on HSE coaching to rig leadership and crews.

• Promote visible safety leadership and Start Safe programs.

Seadrill Management System (SMS)

• Maintain expertise in HSEQ directives and company safety systems.

• Promote Life Saving Rules, Major Accident Hazard Management, and Environmental compliance.

• Support preventive maintenance inspections (fall protection, ladders, gas detectors).

• Recommend improvements based on audits, trends, and investigations.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in Control of Work meetings.

• Support incident investigations and share lessons learned.

• Assist with Red Rig Recovery Plans and STAR Program implementation.

• Collaborate with rig management to develop and monitor HSE plans.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years offshore experience (preferably HSE) or 10 years onshore HSE experience.

• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent.

• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

• Knowledge of HSE regulations, ISM, IMO, IADC, DROPS.

• Proficient in MS Office.

• Fluent in English.

• BOSIET and offshore survival certification required.

Preferred:

• Degree in HSE, Engineering, or Risk Management.

• Multilingual ability.
