Offshore Rig Operations Intern (Summer) in United States
Job Overview:
Gain hands-on offshore experience through two 21-day rotations across Marine, Drilling, and Technical departments. This internship provides practical exposure to rig operations, safety practices, and teamwork under experienced offshore leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with deck, rig floor, and offshore operations
- Support maintenance, housekeeping, and drilling prep activities
- Provide operational support across departments as needed
- Participate in rotations (Roustabout, Drilling, Technical)
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
- Work under supervision of OIM, DSL, and TSL
Requirements:
- High School Graduate
- Current or incoming college student (Engineering, Maritime, Technical, or related field)
- Strong interest in offshore drilling
Preferred:
- Hands-on or technical experience (mechanical, maritime, etc.)
Other Requirements:
- Pass medical, drug screening, and background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
