Job Description
As a Roustabout, you will play a crucial role in our offshore operations, working on various deck and rig floor tasks. Your responsibilities will include vessel loading and unloading, helicopter operations, and rig move activities. You’ll be a key member of our team, ensuring safe and efficient operations while adhering to our high safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to and ensure the revision of all relevant governing documents.
- Execute operations as per procedures, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
- Provide thorough handovers during shift changes and actively participate in meetings.
- Assist with deck and rig floor operations, including preparation for drilling.
- Organize and supervise deck crews, ensuring effective teamwork.
- Maintain cranes and lifting appliances, ensuring their proper functioning.
- Relieve on the drill floor and in other areas as directed by your supervisor.
- Comply with the Seadrill Code of Conduct and internal/external governing requirements.
- Ensure operations do not exceed unit or equipment limitations.
- Conduct daily detailed planning for upcoming operations and maintain clear communication.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
- Preferred previous experience in military, industrial, construction, agricultural, or maritime fields.
- Ability to pass a Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Check.
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, offshore environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- A positive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement.
