Maintenance Technician – Electrical

Job Purpose:

To optimize the reliability and availability of equipment under area of responsibility through completing maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures and guidelines.

Your main duties will be to: –

– Act as a Permit Performing Authority to ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the Permit to Work process and company requirements.
– Provide the Electrical Supervisor with analysis and comment on maintenance opportunities and risks in order to improve business performance.
– Provide visible leadership to personnel to ensure maintenance targets are met.
– Promote NOC core values by being a safety role model, showing trust, respect and commitment, fostering collaboration across the organization.
– Promote cost consciousness in order to embed a strong cost culture.
– Drive an incident free environment by establishing and maintaining a strong incident free culture.
– Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures, that ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.
– Ensure compliance with Operating Procedures and Guidelines to ensure Process Safety, Operational Safety and Plant Integrity.
– Contribute to identifying improvements in planned maintenance routines.
– Prepare, isolate and make safe electrical equipment for maintenance.

• Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
• Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.
• You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication
• You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
