Job Overview
The Workshop Technician III for Intervention Services & Drilling Tools is responsible for providing hands-on technical support in the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of field tools and equipment. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that tools are ready for field deployment. Working primarily in a workshop environment, the technician will follow detailed procedures and protocols to ensure operational efficiency and minimal downtime for field operations.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety rules, company policies, and quality standards.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on intervention services and drilling tools.
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble equipment following technical manuals and protocols.
- Diagnose tool and equipment issues, ensuring accurate and timely repairs.
- Perform troubleshooting, refurbishing, and mandatory modifications to maintain equipment functionality.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-6 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance, specifically in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing drilling tools and intervention services equipment.
- Strong understanding of maintenance protocols, safety standards, and operational procedures.
